What we set

Short list, because it is a short list.

Strictly necessary

These cannot be turned off — the site does not function without them.

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in as you move between pages. Cleared when you sign out.
• XSRF-TOKEN — proves a form submission came from this site and not from someone else's. Without it, every form here would be open to cross-site request forgery.

Human verification

If the captcha is enabled on a form, Redeyed Sentinel may set its own storage to remember that you have already passed a challenge, so it does not ask you again on every page.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled on this installation, Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and understand which articles get read. These are not used to advertise to you, and we do not sell the data.

What we do not set

• Advertising or retargeting cookies.
• Cross-site tracking pixels.
• Anything that follows you to other websites.

Fonts and images

Our typefaces are self-hosted rather than loaded from a font CDN, so reading MMA Zone does not send a request to a third party just to draw the text. Fighter photography may be served from the data provider that licenses it.

Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will log you out and stop forms from submitting — that is a limitation of how the web works, not a choice we made.
